208 & 210 Leith Walk, Edinburgh EH6 5EQ, UK – 0131 629 5482
A delightful shopping experience. Starting from the beautiful window display along Leith Walk which drew me inside, the interior is filled with a treasure trove of vintage and antique porcelain, glassware, silver jewellery, furniture and all sorts of ornaments. Even if you're not looking to buy anything, the owners are friendly and happy to chat. Very affordable. I'll definitely be back again!
I visited Edinburgh for the first time and came across this antique shop. It has many different antique items and very interesting to look at and explore. The prices are reasonable and you can get something from just several pounds. The shopkeeper was very friendly and funny! I enjoyed my experience shopping there and will definitely pay another visit when I return to Edinburgh!
22 Howe St, Edinburgh EH3 6TG, UK – 0131 226 4800
I happened upon this place with my daughter and spent a very relaxed half an hour or more exploring. There's a really good mix of stuff over 3 floors and although I'm no expert, a lot of the prices seemed reasonable. The guy who was in attendance was very helpful and knowledgeable. Well worth a visit in my opinion - we'll be back!
Lovely antique shop with eclectic selection of interesting merchandise. Found a lovely Victorian ring for a good price. Would happy return and browse again!
17 Brandon Terrace, Edinburgh EH3 5DZ, UK – 0131 558 8720
Very friendly owner, with a nice selection of merchandise. Purchased a nice antique ring with which I am very pleased, for a reasonable price. Would stop in again, next time I visit Edinburgh.
I love to drop into Martinez Antiques as there is always something of interest to see and browse through. This little gem of a pale has some really interesting antiques and items, including a lot of chandeliers and original light fittings, well worth a visit.
33 Alva St, Edinburgh EH2 4PS, UK – 0131 226 4345
Staff at Claire's Beauty Salon is very friendly, and customers tend to come back! A lot of different services and treatments are on offer, with a wide range of products available for sale. The premises are very clean, and the location is very central, at the heart of the West End and very close to New Town.
I had skin tags removed from many places of my body, No pain, No marks left. Great job. I would highly recommend. Experienced and professional team. Thank you
6/11 Papermill Wynd, Edinburgh EH7 4GJ, UK – 07870 504322
What a fantastic experience!! I went along to see Renu, with several split and broken nails, only to have her patiently and expertly repair these and finish them with a superb Calgel finish, which she had suggested. This was my first time at her salon but I will be going back. I highly recommend for nails.
30 Easter Rd, Edinburgh EH7 5RG, UK – 0131 661 4000
I ve been for have a wax, I can say that is a nice place, not big fortunately, very good prices for many treatments, with a knowledgeable, friendly and very professional staff. I want to say a big thanks to Gillian for her professionalism and niceness. I really recommend her and Time Out Health and Beauty above all.
I really like this little place. I've had a few different beauty treatments there and it's really good value but also really good treatments!
25 Raeburn Pl, Edinburgh EH4 1HU, UK – 0131 332 9632
Great little charity book shop! It was smaller than I hope it would be but the books are in good condition and have reasonable prices (the academic books a bit less)
Quality and unusual selection of used books.

I was due to meet an author (Peter V Brett) for a signing and I was running late due to transport problems. I spoke to someone called Elsa who was brilliant. She took my details and offered to get a booked signed and dedicated if I didn't get there in time. Elsa even took the time to tell me that the time of the event had changed aswell which was great. When i got there the staff were brilliant in proving me information about the event and organizing the signing event.
Really excellent bookshop, particularly for specialist texts or for students. Offer to match Amazon, WHSmith or Waterstones on price. Probably the best one outside of Oxford
3a-4a Haddington Pl, Edinburgh EH7 4AE, UK – 0131 556 5897
Friendly staff and a beautiful selection of rare books. Highly recommended!
If you're in Edinburgh make sure you visit this bookstore. It is over a century old and the host will tell you all kinds of interesting stories.

I poppped in today to get some torx keys and grease as I'm changing my front discs. Guy was really helpful and had what I needed. Unfortunately the torx nut was ruste in and I rounded off the tool trying to get it out. I went back and they gave me my money back for the torx allens, even though it was probably more my fault, and said they will help me out with another tool tomorrow. Fingers crossed I can get another tool and we will see but can't fault their service and knowledge at all. Highly recommended
Having been ripped off during a service from Arnold Clark, I went about finding a new garage. The other half came across this little shop/garage with bright yellow facia walls tucked halfway up Leith Walk when our car battery died and we had to buy another one. They have a shop that sits on Leith Walk where you can buy lots of car parts and they have a garage at the back of the premises. Pilrig Motors is owned and run by 3 brothers, who have in the 7 years I've been going there, been nothing but helpful and lovely. Thankfully they managed to survive the chaos that was the tram fiasco that shut so much of Leith Walk and sent businesses packing! I have gone there with relatively minor problems that they have been able to fix on the spot and not charged me. They will go out the way to source cheap parts rather than rip off their customers. I (a girl) have never been ripped off by them. My car has been well maintained by them and rarely needed anything done to it - and when it did, it didn't cost anything close to what I had been charged in the past by other garages. If you're looking for a garage in Leith, I would highly recommend them.

Callum is reliable, efficient and professional. We have used him time and time again. Yes I would surely recommend.
Calum from ETC Locks is very professional and quick at attending, found him a tad pricey but was happy with that. It's sometimes nicer to pay more for quality than less for less. ETC locks was a recommendation from Property Repair at 52 Montrose Terrace and one I'll be recommending to others.
Leith Walk, Edinburgh EH6 5BX, UK – 0131 553 2126
I took my eBay bought PS4 into store as it had developed the "blue light of death". They were extremely honest with me, which I really appreciated - no point in sugar coating it. Turns out I'd been cheated! They did a temporary fix for free for me, and advised me to get my money back. They were so helpful, talking me through the issue in as simple terms as possible. Would definitely go to them again!
After establishing it is likely my Mazda 3 Bose amp at fault (popping like a rifle or machine gun through speakers & no other sound), Mazda wanted £600 for a new amp or offered to send it off to a good car audio place for a £260 repair. I found these guys who specialise in the repair of Bose car amplifiers & they sorted it for a lot less. The process of sending the unit off was straightforward & Chris was very helpful. Fitted the unit back in my car 10 minutes ago & all is good!

Popped into Richer Sounds Edinburgh on my lunch break for a new DAC today. Staff were really helpful, was served by Andy, the friendliest guy ever, gave me advice on which one to get, really happy with my purchase, will definitely use them for my other audio needs in the future. Recommended.
Very helpful staff and a fine range of equipment for sale and demo. Prices very competitive. Great place to pop by
Summerside Pl, Edinburgh EH6 4PA, UK – 07518 984863
Just bought an Audi A4 SE and it was love at first sight. Very cleaned and drives really well. Lovely upgrade from a 55 Zetec. Heartbreaking to see it go but will get over it as I know I will enjoy the A4. The owner was very helpful and accommodating, even made me a cup of tea (well he claims but I'm sure his lovely wife did). I love how the car handles the road with minimum noise. A head turner for sure.
I found a car, on-line and arrived at one of the three premises this company has, only to find it sold. But, after a small chat with the company owner, and a small walk to another one of their premises, I found another car for sale, that got my attention, and within a couple of days, became the proud owner ! Thanks to Mandi, and his family for a great service and a perfect transaction. I would recommend this company, because, even when they are busy with personal issues, they take the time to assist you, in all aspects of your purchase? (A+) A Great Family Run Business!!
21 McDonald Pl, Edinburgh EH7 4NH, UK – 0131 556 5658
If you are inclined to buy from the owner, Fraser - 1. Make sure the car is properly vetted by reputable firm like the AA, someone that knows cars 2. Make sure any agreements are in writing!!! Discussions best emailed so you have written confirmation 3. Confirm! confirm! confirm! BE WARNED
Having read the reviews on here, i was sceptical about visiting the garage. There is always a chance that reviews are written by bad customers so i checked them out myself and couldnt have been happier with the service. A great car, great service and would have no hesitation in recommending them. Its a shame people only ever review for negative reasons and i am sure these are no reflection on Edinburgh Motor Co. The owner was very helpful, and reminded me that after selling hundreds of cars to only have 3 upset people was pretty good, a fair point i suppose!

Fair deal and very simple. Thanks.
77-87 Ferry Rd, Edinburgh EH6 4AQ, UK – 0131 553 5996
Unfriendly staff. Very convenient
pretty convenient petrol station if you are around the north end of edinburgh
102 Pilton Dr, Edinburgh EH5 2HF, UK – 0131 315 4970
One of cheapest in Edinburgh for fuel. Free air and water when you spend over £15 on fuel. Plenty of pumps there, and convenient location.
Tip if you don't have a £1 coin and you need the air machine: if you ask inside they'll give you a code to use it for free.
109 Queensferry Rd, Edinburgh EH4 3HL, UK – 01224 704230
Fuel-dispensing facility which supplies most, if not all, of the currently popular varieties of vehicle fuel, including unleaded petrol, diesel, and others; the pumps are self-service with nozzles designed to fit inside the fuel-intake cavity of most motorcars, vans and motorbikes. There is a shop and kiosk selling sweets, mags and drinks and a variety of other produce and a cheery wee man behind the counter
Forecourt not the best for bikers, spillages at every pump and at exit, however staff members are polite and courteous.
23 Canonmills, Edinburgh EH3 5HA, UK – 0131 557 0556
A truly splendid and magnificent place to stop off if you find that your motor-car is in need of a topping-up with fuel. These delightful people will be only too happy to help, and indeed, you are invited to dispense the petrol or diesel from pump to car by your own fair hand and at your discretion, putting in as much or as little as you yourself may deem necessary
Conveniently located with a good selection of food and drink available in the shop.
2 Sandpiper Dr, Edinburgh EH6 6NX, UK – 0131 561 2300
The phrase 'must see' is overused these days but this is one place that more than lives up-to the hype. I'm lucky enough to have been several times and each time I have been left speechless. One of Edinburgh's top tourist attractions and rightfully so.
Visiting from London. Fresh food is better quality and cheaper! Lovely chat with checkout assistant. Enjoyed my experience.
Crewe Toll, Edinburgh EH4 2NT, UK – 0131 332 6796
Called in, as I always do to refuel before a long drive north. My exhaust was giving me trouble and been unable to get any garage to tie it up with a metal strap to let me get on my essential journey north. On the forecourt was a man called Davie, wearing high-vis Shell gear. He offered to fill my car, but I'd already begun. He said he'd noticed my car was noisy. I told him the exhaust was hanging down and was hoping I'd get north 150 miles without it falling off. He very kindly said he'd have a quick look. So after fuelling, I took my car over to a quieter spot where Davie, got the jack out of my boot, jacked the car up and said he thought he could tie it up. After a bit of thought, Davie found a metal ring in his car that was big enough to loop round the offending pipe and tie off. Raising the exhaust back to it's original position. This took him no more than 10 minutes. I was delighted with the result and Davie was pleased he'd been able to effect a good repair. I set off and Davie stood listening to the now purring car and bade me farewell with a smile and a wave. Then I drove into a 2 hour traffic jam and my whole journey took 5 hours, tiring, but less noisy, thanks to Davie's deft repair. Thanks to Davie, I got home safely, with my car intact. It's booked in to have the new exhaust fitted this week. I have to say, he did this with a smile and a glad heart, despite wearing a bandage on his arm, supporting an injury of some kind, (I thought it rude to ask). Davie is a real asset to the staff at Crewe Toll filling station, and his cheerful, friendly welcoming disposition would put any frayed motorist at ease. I hope you enjoyed your pint Davie. Cheers! See you next time I'm in to refuel before heading north.
A range of pumps with many of the popular fuel types

Went there after a bike accident due to issues with my forks. Mark helped a huge amount and sorted them fairly quickly and for an incredible price. A few months ago I had a nail in my tire which I also got fixed there again for a great price. Great place and friendly owner, will definitely use again.
Mark is a nice friendly approachable person. He's very good at what he does, he takes his time to do a good job. I went there after a theft attempt on my bike and he prioritised my work to get me on the road at a reasonable price. A good mechanic and a gentleman. I'll be going there again.
17 E Cromwell St, Edinburgh EH6 4DE, UK – 0131 554 5909
Cant fault their work at all. Reasonably priced. Always very helpful. My whole family take their cars there. Customer service is very good.
I have been taking my car and my daughters car to Dalziels for the past 4 years and their level of customer service is second to none. They are a friendly, honest and trustworthy team and you can be sure that they will service / Fix / MOT your car in a professional and timely manner. They are certainly worth every penny. I cannot recommend them enough.
6-8 Windsor St Ln, Edinburgh EH7 5JZ, UK – 0131 557 0939
Received a quote to fix my clutch and job was completed by the following morning. Other garages had quoted £200-£300 more which probably included changing the flywheel also, but James Allan told me it didn't need changing which proves their honesty. Speedy, efficient service AND an honest assessment&fix, couldn't ask for more. A clean and tidy workplace also, which is usually a good indication a business is being well-run. Can highly recommend and will be using again.
Major failure in an automatic chevy captiva. Organised pickup and found the fault made the repair and saved me a fortune. Honest and direct !
34 Raeburn Pl, Edinburgh EH4 1HN, UK – 0131 315 2856
A charity shop supporting a worthy cause. Some interesting and varied items for sale, often of good quality.
Probably the best charity shop in Edinburgh. All of its items are in excellent condition. The place itself is like a boutique shop and the volunteers are always happy to help you! It can be slightly pricier than a standard charity shop, but most of the items are of very high quality.
29-31 Deanhaugh St, Edinburgh EH4 1LR, UK – 0131 343 1771
This is a great little store. very thoughtfully presented in more of a boutique style than some of the other charity shops in town. Staff are always lovely and helpful. Just got a great pair of Zara jeans for £7 last time I was in. Well worth a look anytime you're in Stockbridge
Scored a pair of binoculars for £7 in here once. Bargain!
144-150 Leith Walk, Edinburgh EH6 5DT, UK – 0131 554 4099

When you want everything in adult size, when you can decide because there is too much choice, when you leave with a skip in your step, when you feel relieved that you can find something unique, when you swoon over the owner and her great ideas. Five beautiful stars. Thank you Vx
Bon Tot is an excellent shop for modern stylish clothing. We were there with our 9 month old daughter and the owner Kris was great with her. She also made helpful suggestions and her precise knowledge of the different sizing between the ranges was very useful.

The missus loves this place.Great quality and different than the usual high street tat.
3 N W Circus Pl, Edinburgh EH3 6ST, UK – 0131 226 6220
Superb, quality goods store. I have purchased a grand fisherman Symmetrical jumper, made by Andersen-Andersen. Also purchasing a Filson Alaskan shirt. The staff are hugely knowledgeable about the products and appear to produce little waste.
This is a gorgeous menswear shop for the sartorially savvy. From beautifully finished brogue boots and Scandinavian chic jumpers to cherry wood kitchen knives and glass coffee pots, everything they sell is a highly crafted work of art. The shop itself would look at home in the pages of Wallpaper. It's pretty much perfect. Yes, I am jealous that there isn't a girls' version!
Customs Wharf, Edinburgh EH6 6PL, UK – 0131 554 9177
Amazing store in Leith, with UK made and designed clothing. Minimalistic style and unvelivable quality.
Well designed minimalistic mens clothes, everyday clothing of good quality and reasonably priced. Loving the 2016 winter collection.
7 Drumsheugh Place, Queensferry Street, Edinburgh EH3 7PT, UK – 0131 226 5582
Recently had a bespoke jacket and waistcoat made from some Harris Tweed and I really can't praise this place enough. Both fit perfectly and the difference in getting made to measure is clear. As well as fitting me precisely, the standard of the tailoring is exquisite. Down to the very small inner pocket detail - everything is perfect and has clearly been made by an expert tailor. Very reasonably priced and Derek is very helpful and knowledgable. Delighted with my items!
Great find with 5 Star service
35 Dundas St, Edinburgh EH3 6QQ, UK – 0131 556 5554
Beautiful shop - fantastic range of clothes and cashmere, beautiful contemporary styles, and cashmere designed and made in Scotland. Also shoes and accessories. I urge you to check this shop out!
One of the most excellent online shopping experiences I ever had - ordered an item on one day (from Berlin, Germany) around noon and got it the other day even before noon. Outstanding!
34 George St, Edinburgh EH2 2LE, UK – 0131 629 9261
Love this shop, very helpful freindly staff 👍☺
on sale on October!
48 Princes St, Edinburgh EH2 2YJ, UK – 0870 607 2841
Just to note, this is a concessions within Jenners (House of Fraser) on Princes St. Situated on the first floor, the quickest way to get in is probably via the entrance around the back on Rose Street. Not a huge selection, I would say the Oasis within House of Fraser at the West end has a bigger selection, and theres the stand alone store close by in Princes Mall.
22 Hanover St, Edinburgh EH2 2EP, UK – 0131 603 7910
My company has been a client of Grant McGregor since both we and they started up way back. We've maintained a first rate relationship with the company and they've always provided us with exactly what we neeed, when we need it. I would recommend them to anyone needing first rate IT support and advice. And always in language you understand.
Grant McGregor provided a quote for the installation and maintenance contract for the IT system in our small business (7 pc's ) back in 2014. Not only did they save us money on the installation but organised all the integration of our business critical appliances with our outside provider making the whole process seamless and stress free! We have found all the staff we have had direct contact with to be friendly, professional and above all IT jargon free.

I would highly recommend User2. I have used them on a number of occasions and the service is first class. Being a local computer shop it’s easy to pop in and get their expertise on any issues I have, nothing is too much trouble for the staff.
I was having a small problem with my wireless driver and I brought it into User2 as they were close by. I met Cameron in behind the desk and he was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He knew exactly how to fix the problem I was having, and was able to explain to me exactly why it was happening. I couldn't be happier with my experience there.
5 London Rd, Edinburgh EH7 5AP, UK – 0131 661 0664
Super friendly and efficient service, will definitely be back (though hopefully not too soon, fingers crossed for things not breaking!)
This is the best place to repair your computer in Edinburgh. I can easily recommend Grzegorz as a professional and focused on customer's needs IT specialist. If you are looking for high quality and reasonable prices you should trust Escape Computers.
105 Hanover St, Edinburgh EH2 1DJ, UK – 0131 225 4131
Found this place through google maps when I searched for a place to fix my laptop screen. I have to say the service was flawless. Everyone was nice to me, let me know exactly what to expect in terms of price and when to expect the laptop to be ready! Thank you so much.
A fantastically warm, welcoming and very helpful professional service for computer issues. I first discovered Asset IT over 5 years ago and have been going back ever since. I rely heavily on the performance of my computers for work and even when abroad, Asset IT have been able to help and advise. They call and keep you in mind throughout whatever works may be needed giving the all important feeling of safety with no unexpected price surprises. I thoroughly recommend popping in and allowing them to come to the rescue. Thanks Asset IT.

I’ve used Flying Computers twice. The first time was a battery replacement for my 4S around 2012/13, the second was a home button replacement for my trusty old 5S today. Service was quick and friendly. The repair was estimated to be 15 mins. It was completed in around 10. The price was very reasonable. I would have no hesitation in using the shop again.
I would recommend Flying Computers for your repairs and screen replacements. We take all our laptops, iPads etc to this shop and always get a professional job done quickly and at a very reasonable price.

I use this shop on a regular basis and would recommend it to anyone.

Staff here are great if not heroic, did a very difficult fix on my bike. Sometimes takes a bit longer to get the bike booked in for repairs/service etc but worth the wait as these guys are trustworthy and their expertise second to none. Been a customer for 4 years, they haven't let me down yet. Keep it up!

There is simply not anywhere near enough space here to even begin to describe my many varied experiences in and around the area of Leith Walk and in particular the shop know as Home Essentials. Vital Home Essentials provides every essential item for the home. From the semi holographic Elvis pictures to brooms and everything in between, this is the shop that drives the dynamic pulsating social hub that is Leith! This is where I met the man with an orange for a head. They also sell great advent candles in January, which is when all good satanists celebrate the coming of the lord. Today I was rudely ambushed by the God of the broken shoelace whilst I was on my way to film a documentary about mental health. Who was the angel that appeared to save me on a Sunday from such a predicament, Jesus? Jehova? A Mormon? Buddha? Nope! None of them batted so much as an eyelid as I was almost taken to the hell gods realm; forever to be tormented by broken shoelaces. The angel that came to my rescue was Vital Home Essentials. These people deserve to be worshiped. And I can now confirm that they do sell shoelaces in red and blue as well as the more conventional for Leith which is black and white. Most films that are shot in Leith are in the black and white format. But I digress, would you like to know more about how I met the man with an orange for a head?
Truly has everything vital for the home.

I'd asked for a Christmas tree to be put aside for me and the staff had very kindly agreed to do this. I travelled quite a way in so was disappointed to find that the wrong size tree had been put aside, and no more potted trees were left (I'd searched everywhere in Edinburgh and this was my last option). The staff could not have been more helpful - they found me a cut tree of just the right size and a goodwill voucher to amend the error. Really kind of everyone to make this effort - thank you!

Best in Edinburgh for price and in stock items.
Commercial Quay, 94 Commercial St, Edinburgh EH6 6LX, UK – 0131 555 3963
Five star service. Genuine lovely staff. Decks never sounded so good 👍👍👍
This place is fantastic. I booked a session and Iain walked me through the various stages of choosing a new turntable. 3 hours in one of their dedicated listen rooms. Can't recommend this place enough. Super knowledgeable and friendly people.
Leith St, Edinburgh EH1 3SP, UK – 0131 556 9121
It is a bit isolated during all the development works around it, but still worth a visit for its wide range of quality goods. The store is being upgraded with internal works. As a result, there is a much better cafe and customer toilets. The new TV and electrical department on the same floor is impressive. Post sales service is good.
I have been going for years and the Place to eat is great. Daniel and Andrew run a great team and when it's possible, I go nowhere else. The new 5th floor is certainly very different. Miss my brown comfy chairs but the new one is certainly much brighter and spacious.

I don't normally write reviews but couldn't not do so about Garlands Florist at Elm Row! As I am across the water I wasn't sure where to pick to surprise our niece on her 13th birthday! Garlands ticked all the boxes and delivered an amazing balloon bouquet.....which am told was made extra special by the gentleman who delivered them and made a fuss of her! Thank you so much! Will definitely be using your service again!
Such friendly staff, very pleasant when speaking via the phone when buying flowers for my better half. Susan is the lady I speak with when phoning and always sounds so nice. Frank the driver is an amazingly friendly gentleman, very refined, likes a laugh and is so polite. I can't recommend Garlands enough they have such lovely displays for a very reasonable price. I have seen many displays in some of Edinburghs fine establishments any when we ask who does the display they tend to say Garlands. Please don't hesitate to contact them you will be glad you did :-)

Helpful, nice small shop atmosphere and service.

Wow. The service is exceptional. Very Impressed... the flowers are stunning! Thank you Elliott Clark Flowers!!
One of my favourite little florists – they're always pleased to see you, have some very quirky window displays (their Easter one is always so much fun) and don't mind at all if you have no idea about flowers, other than the colours! They stock lots of seasonal items like tubs of daffodils, holly wreaths and tulips so it's worth popping by at any time of the year. Dog lovers should also look out for the big black lab that 'works' here, who's always happy to see people too!

Very nice deli of a standard I would expect of Valvona and Crolla. However interesting experience with our order of cheese scones..or should I say 'cheesed scones' Waitress said she would check their shop for cheese scones and returned with 'them' in bag. We asked for them to be warmed. They arrived warm on top and cold in centre. Melted cheese on top of a sweet bun.( Hidden in a bag) Tut tut Valvona and Crolla.
Wealth of great produce but comes at a price. Staff are generally happy to assist when having a browse of the cheese and meat counters, often get to try a little bit to persuade you to buy.
23 Henderson Row, Edinburgh EH3 5DH, UK – 0800 073 1211
Expensive for lunch. Good quality food and friendly staff. Would go more if it was reasonably priced.
A small and selected deli fillings. A little cozy place in Henderson Row. There will be a little wait in the afternoon though...
7 Barony St, Edinburgh EH3 6PD, UK – 0131 558 7111
Good location and nice atmosphere. No so many vegan / vegetarian options to choose from and very overpriced - 9.50 for one slice of bread with avocado and three mushrooms is definitely crazy, I do not care how many herbs and crushed nuts you use for decoration...
Absolutely loved it! It's a really lovely hipster cafe with great vibes, ambience, and an awesome menu! The breakfast was way more massive than I expected, and the chai tea was really yummy. Really wanted to go back a second time while I was visiting, but didn't make it sadly. Definitely recommend it!

Real Foods is the only place where I could find organic glucose/dextrose powder. I am using it to make my own nutrition/energy drink. I have tried different brands' glucose/dextrose powder but all were disgustingly too sweet. This one is not too sweet and apart from its sweetness, it's also tasty! The product is perhaps the best available on the market. I just wish this product were available in a proper resealable package (what I received made a mess when I tried to open it as it's in a thin plastic bag).
Very good place for healthy products. Can be pricey but offers good discounts and other forms of offers. You could spend a lot of time there and find pretty much everything you need for your weekly shop. A great place.
Lothian, 18-19 Princes St, Edinburgh EH2 2AN, UK – 0131 558 8135
Alex was great. Asked if we where in the area for a while and offer the larger container as it would ultimately save money if needed. Since we were not, he was able to provide a discount for us. He was polite and fun too. Thank you!
Excellent range, super knowledgable & helpful staff. I always get what I’m looking for in this branch.
Unit 3, Hanover Building Rose St, Edinburgh EH2 2NN, UK – 0131 226 5802
Very good staffmember who was very nice and helpful
Not a bad H&B - Tucked away on the upper part of Rose street - I usually wait until they've got offers on before popping in as not the cheapest - Very friendly I have to say though
78 Princes St, Edinburgh EH2 2ER, UK – 0131 220 0507
The staff here are brilliant, very friendly and helpful. Ended up buying the wedding rings from here while living in London because the service/experience was just sooo much better!
Just Love shopping here good price's to.
18 St Stephen St, Edinburgh EH3 5AL, UK – 0131 225 5939
My wife and I just both picked up our wedding rings here. They were very helpful, and adjusted hers to match her oddly-shaped engagement ring for free (and it looks perfect). Lovely selection with lovely service.
Ordered the 'Sweetheart' pendant as a present for someone and had to contact Sheila Fleet to make some changes to the order - the person I spoke to was fantastic, service was efficient and friendly, and the necklace is beautiful. Also have another necklace I've been wearing regularly for several years that shows no signs of wear, their jewellery really is of great quality!
99 Rose St, Edinburgh EH2 3DT, UK – 0131 225 7194
I love LOVE this place, the jewelery is absolutely beautiful they have a massive range and the prices are very affordable I will keep going there. The staff is lovely and very helpful.
I lost a pair of my beloved Palenque earrings and customer services tracked them down (as they are no longer available online) to the Edinburgh shop who sent them by return post. The designs are always contemporary and original and I am gutted that the Cambridge shop closed. I will continue to shop at this fantastic shop but online Well done for customer service and fabulous products
337 Leith Walk, Edinburgh EH6 8SD, UK – 0131 557 4666
Very good pet supplies shop and they sell some reptiles and small pets like guinnea pigs and rabbits. They have a vast array of cat toys and accessories like collars, catnip, toys etc. They even have 2 resident cats in the shop. Edinburgh's premier pet shop and has a long established reputation from the days they were based at the end of London Road.
One of the only brick and mortar stores that sells a complete rat food! Prices very reasonable (about the same as online). The rats we bought from here were incredibly well handled and two of the sweetest animals we've ever met!
14 Deanhaugh St, Edinburgh EH4 1LY, UK – 0131 332 0899
Great place for all your pet needs. An independent business. They sell frozen natural dog food.
Friendly staff and lots of good products. They order everything you could every need to keep your dog happy.
134 Easter Rd, Edinburgh EH7 5RJ, UK – 0131 661 8011
Excellent and friendly service. I have never been disappointed and every time I went I found what I needed, whether it is for my hamster or more lately dog. The owner always has good advice and is clearly passionate about animals. Prices are very, very reasonable for a small pet shop and sometimes cheaper than major pet supermarkets. I don't understand how people would be disappointed by the place, unless you don't understand the meaning of local shops or you expect Disneyland.
Just got grt advise from Don ,very polite and helpful even though a got the wrong shop , the man still helped !!! So a big thanks ,j.kerr ur a star!!!
24-26 Coburg St, Edinburgh EH6 6HB, UK – 0131 553 6003
Fantastic shop try to get all sports items from here, bought some skipping ropes and the burst did not have receipt and did not expect to get a new pair for free but "the guy" sorry did not get his name was very helpful on such a boring item and replaced them no problem. Would recommend everyone to go, so helpful and friendly.
Fantastic helpful staff and great prices for real sports gear

Helpful guys here, sourcing whatever we need for our Club kids.
Friendly service and good stock of local team kits, including Spartans FC.
7 Croall Pl, Edinburgh EH7 4LT, UK – 0131 556 4038
A institution within Leith. A bit random in his offerings, but offers good selection of darts, tele's and even get your keys cut
Forget where Harry Potter was written: it was in the backroom of Borlands Darts and TV store where Irvine Welsh first began to write what became known as Trainspotting. Worth a visit if you are a literary aficionado!
81 Shandwick Pl, Edinburgh EH2 4SD, UK – 0131 228 6213

Limited selection of cards..very nice but can be a bit pricey.. handy for gifts and every item seems to be in the correct place.. so if you are in a hurry for the bus, you can grab, pay & dash. 77A George St, New Town, Edinburgh EH2 3EE, UK – 0131 226 4323
Paperchase is situated a short walk from Princess Street, small frontage and easy to walk past but once inside it goes on and on. Really busy and difficult to move around due to the pre Christmas chaos. Plenty helpful and attentive staff, long queues to pay but all tills open and staff served efficiently.
Very pleasant shop to visit. Good range of stationery products with very nice atmosphere in the shop.
21 Multrees Walk, Edinburgh EH1 3DQ, UK – 0131 202 1447
Love the Pen Shop. As well as a vast range of pens, pencils and writing paper, they also sell expensive fountain pens and inks from Mont Blanc, Lamy et al. Always fun to have a look around.
Excellent good shop
16 Hanover St, Edinburgh EH2 2EN, UK – 0800 519 6820
Was really good in store. Spent ages trying to get it sorted online so went into store and they managed to get my internet set up that day. Happy customer.
Fantastic customer service in store from Simon and Sanj who were able to fix the mess the online team made of my upgrade. Despite retentions hanging up on me, Simon spent 45 min on the phone to them to resolve (fingers crossed) the issue. I even got a pack of jelly beans while I waited! next time I’ll do my upgrade in store with them!
Leith, 3-4 Newkirkgate Centre, Edinburgh EH6 6AA, UK – 0131 553 1815
Nice staff, great products, top brands, easy weekly payments

1A Haddington Pl, Edinburgh EH7 4AE, UK – 0131 556 7901
Staff incredibly knowledgeable. The store itself has limited products to view but staff can advise you on what to get and order it in
A massive thank you to these guys for helping me out with my turntable upgrade. Vinyl has never sounded so good. For anyone who is listening to CDs of music streaming you need to visit Hi Fi Corner and see what they can do for you

I asked at what I considered short notice for a 40th Birthday cake to be made for collection for 23rd December! This was NO issue at all!! The cake was PERFECT, exactly what I wanted! Everyone loved it! People in the restaurant commenting on it saying it was the best Lord of the Rings cake they had ever seen!! it tasted amazing!! definitely recommend!
The actual sponge cake was so yummy. Reminded me of fresh home baked cake. I needed the cake quickly and Alicks was professional and helpful and understanding in getting the cake to us, on time. Great cake and great service!!

An amazing and talented dressmaker. Freja was wonderful and the dress surpassed expectations! 100% would recommend Freja ❤️
I highly recommend Freja Fashion, Mette is truly an excellent designer and dress maker and an absolute joy to work with. I was struggling to find a mother of the bride outfit that I liked and happened to find Freja Fashion. Mette took the time to get to know me and understood what would suit me, I can't thank Mette and her team enough. I love my dress thank you so much. Gill

Mairi created beautiful bespoke stationery for our wedding - the entire suite of stationery (save the date, invitations, transport cards, dietary cards, Thank You cards) were beautiful. She listened to exactly what I wanted and the result was stunning. I received so many compliments and would go to Mairi for any other big occasions. She also created beautiful new baby cards for us and they were just as beautiful!
We ordered wedding invitations from Mairi to our own spec she is a lovely lady a true artist we were so impressed with the cards & her service. Support local crafts they are the best.

Great service and very helpful staff. Would recommend any business to give them a try.
Great wine at a great price - I no longer buy anywhere else if I can avoid it.
200 Leith Walk, Edinburgh EH6 5EQ, UK – 0131 554 0177
Great selection on wines from all over the world. Friendly and helpful staff are able to answer all your questions and make good recommendations. On this visit I noticed a whole shelf of various gins which seem to be the rave. They also offer free delivery.
Really great shop with very helpful staff. We buy various bottles and beers here for home and the selection is always great, moreover, we bought an entire weddings worth of wine and the team were excellent when it came to sorting out deals, delivery and tastings. The selection of wine is obviously excellent but there is a really good range of spirits here too and good deals on beer from all over.
