This place is a little gem of antique items. You will find more or less everything inside this small shop and the lady that run the shop is a lovely helper 😉
Mother and son owned. Good for a rummage. Few clocks lots of brasswear lighting ornaments. Look out for antique clockwork Santa!
22 Howe St, Edinburgh EH3 6TG, UK – 0131 226 4800
I happened upon this place with my daughter and spent a very relaxed half an hour or more exploring. There's a really good mix of stuff over 3 floors and although I'm no expert, a lot of the prices seemed reasonable. The guy who was in attendance was very helpful and knowledgeable. Well worth a visit in my opinion - we'll be back!
Lovely antique shop with eclectic selection of interesting merchandise. Found a lovely Victorian ring for a good price. Would happy return and browse again!
208 & 210 Leith Walk, Edinburgh EH6 5EQ, UK – 0131 629 5482
A delightful shopping experience. Starting from the beautiful window display along Leith Walk which drew me inside, the interior is filled with a treasure trove of vintage and antique porcelain, glassware, silver jewellery, furniture and all sorts of ornaments. Even if you're not looking to buy anything, the owners are friendly and happy to chat. Very affordable. I'll definitely be back again!
An unexpected delight! A proper antiques shop with a good range of stock at very reasonable prices. Lots of tempting things to take home or give as presents. The owner is friendly and clearly knows his stuff. I'll certainly be visiting it again.

Lovely salon. Friendly staff. The best hot stone massage I’ve ever had, bar none!
Girlfriend visited while I sat and waited, was pretty relaxing and had free wifi. She seemed very happy with her make up which was done for a wedding.

A one stop beauty salon with a great team of girls all highly trained and experienced. This hidden gem in stockbridge is a family run business that really goes the extra mile to make you feel and look wonderful.

Staff at Claire's Beauty Salon is very friendly, and customers tend to come back! A lot of different services and treatments are on offer, with a wide range of products available for sale. The premises are very clean, and the location is very central, at the heart of the West End and very close to New Town.
I had skin tags removed from many places of my body, No pain, No marks left. Great job. I would highly recommend. Experienced and professional team. Thank you

Fantastic service. On two occasions was helped out unbelievably. First was moving into Edinburgh area from London with a car full of possessions and the boot lock mechanism was playing up (couldn't close boot) sorted in seconds free of charge! Second time my rear tyre (drivers side) had a slow puncture. As I was at work in town, I had to fit this repair in during my work breaks. Kwik fit was nearest but they couldn't guarantee it would be fixed till the next day apparently due to backlog of jobs during the bad snow days plus they were quite rude. Brought my car to this garage and had it sorted within an hour very fair price. Should have brought it to this one first! Very honourable garage, Highly recommend to all my work colleagues and mates!
Been using Edinburgh Honda Specialist for years now, great guys and the only one's I trust to touch my cars. Professional service every time with great customer service. Always happy to help and the work is always carried out to the highest of standards. Easily the best garage in Edinburgh.

Absolutely stellar service. I rang up to arrange to bring my elderly television in, and when I described the problem, Paul told me what the issue was likely to be, and what it would be likely to cost to put right. When I brought it in, he looked at it for less than a minute, saw that it was in 'deep standby', turned it on for me, explained what had happened and why, and refused to take any payment. He also offered me a free second-hand remote control. I chose to bring my telly there because of the brilliant reviews he had received, and he definitely deserves every one of those positive reviews. Although there was nothing actually wrong with my telly, it's not something I could have done myself, and I would have been perfectly happy to pay him for his expertise, but he wouldn't take anything. I'm completely delighted, and recommend him wholeheartedly. He clearly knows his stuff and it's fantastic to find someone who could have taken the telly in and charged a lot of money, but didn't. I'd give him ten stars if I could.
I took my Mazda 6 Sport to our local dealer as I had lost all sound from my speakers. I spoke to one of the Audio Technicians who checked all the fuses, which were fine, to which he then said he wasn't sure what it could be and I better get my car booked in but if it was the Bose Amp that had failed i'd be looking at around £900..Luckily I found SVTS online. After a quick chat they said it would 100% be the circuit board in the amp which they could repair for £160 including return postage..Well Happy..Piece of cake to remove the amp from under the passenger seat. All up and running again within a week..Thank You so much for a great service Glen - Doncaster..

Well, I was looking for a hi fi system , they were very helpful. What can you expect? They are high end of the scale units. Starting price for speakers around £500 each, amplifiers around £1500. By appointment you could listen to their various speakers and amplifiers. Parking is not the best as they have a couple of public slots just outside with most spaces around the nearby streets for ticket holders only.
I visited hi-fi corner on Tuesday with my daughter to look at turntables the guy I spoke to was very helpful explaining things to me will be visiting again to purchase my hi fi stuff from here highly recommend

A truly splendid and magnificent place to stop off if you find that your motor-car is in need of a topping-up with fuel. These delightful people will be only too happy to help, and indeed, you are invited to dispense the petrol or diesel from pump to car by your own fair hand and at your discretion, putting in as much or as little as you yourself may deem necessary
Pricey petrol, but they have a wee M&S here which is great for last-minute quick dinners.
109 Queensferry Rd, Edinburgh EH4 3HL, UK – 01224 704230
Fuel-dispensing facility which supplies most, if not all, of the currently popular varieties of vehicle fuel, including unleaded petrol, diesel, and others; the pumps are self-service with nozzles designed to fit inside the fuel-intake cavity of most motorcars, vans and motorbikes. There is a shop and kiosk selling sweets, mags and drinks and a variety of other produce and a cheery wee man behind the counter
Excellent venue to buy petrol. 5/5 would refuel again!
2 Sandpiper Dr, Edinburgh EH6 6NX, UK – 0131 561 2300
The phrase 'must see' is overused these days but this is one place that more than lives up-to the hype. I'm lucky enough to have been several times and each time I have been left speechless. One of Edinburgh's top tourist attractions and rightfully so.
185 Craighleith Road, Edinburgh EH4 2EB, UK – 0131 315 2494
Long reach hoses mean that there is less waiting. Usually significantly cheaper than the Esso station round the corner. Free air for your tyres. Down side is that it's not open 24 hours.
Fuels of multiple varieties pumped magnificently from a choice of nozzles attached to a number of free standing pumps all housed together under a flat-roofed shelter marked in the distinctive bright orange livery of the Sainsbury brand
8 Montgomery St Ln, Edinburgh EH7 5JT, UK – 0131 557 2490
Top mechanic, and very nice guy. Honest and fair. Did a great job servicing my bike. Really fast turn around too. Will definitely be going back.
Went there after a bike accident due to issues with my forks. Mark helped a huge amount and sorted them fairly quickly and for an incredible price. A few months ago I had a nail in my tire which I also got fixed there again for a great price. Great place and friendly owner, will definitely use again.

I own a BMW R1150R - Rockster / Edition 80 I was at Edinburgh at the time, and getting ready to relocate for my seasonal job at the Highlands, Scotland I had issues with my ABS braking system at the time, and due to the remoteness and long millage that I will be doing when at the Highlands, I wanted the bike to be in a very good condition before I begin my trip there I came across Tyler (the motorcycle mechanic) by coincidence. I was out and about visiting different garages, searching for a good mechanic, when I came across him A new face in town, with hopes to establish himself I liked him from the very beginning. He had an easy going approach, pleasant to have a conversation with and was very knowledgeable and honest My trust came when I entered his garage, and before even speaking with him, my eye caught two vintage motorcycles sitting aside, which were fully refurbished by him from scratch. Beautiful bikes and very well maintained I remember telling myself, this must be a knowledgeable mechanic considering the work that he has done on these two vintage bikes Decided to give him the assignment and hoped for the best I gave him a budget that I was comfortable with, and asked him to treat my bike as if it was his own He did just that. He remained within my budget, fully informed me what had to be done upfront before beginning any work, he remained within the time frame that I gave him, did an excellent work, and most importantly he was very pleasant to deal with and honest at all times He works hard, his very good in what he does, his pleasant and his honest For these reasons I would recommend him, and I will certainly use him again for myself in the future I consider myself lucky that I came across him, when I was in need for someone I am confident that on the long run he will do well in his line of business, and I sincerely wish him all the best, as good people should always be supported These are my sincere thoughts Hope that all the above helps with choosing the right mechanic Fotis

Cant fault their work at all. Reasonably priced. Always very helpful. My whole family take their cars there. Customer service is very good.
I have been taking my car and my daughters car to Dalziels for the past 4 years and their level of customer service is second to none. They are a friendly, honest and trustworthy team and you can be sure that they will service / Fix / MOT your car in a professional and timely manner. They are certainly worth every penny. I cannot recommend them enough.

Great little charity book shop! It was smaller than I hope it would be but the books are in good condition and have reasonable prices (the academic books a bit less)
Quality and unusual selection of used books.
29-31 Deanhaugh St, Edinburgh EH4 1LR, UK – 0131 343 1771
This is a great little store. very thoughtfully presented in more of a boutique style than some of the other charity shops in town. Staff are always lovely and helpful. Just got a great pair of Zara jeans for £7 last time I was in. Well worth a look anytime you're in Stockbridge
Scored a pair of binoculars for £7 in here once. Bargain!
7 South Bridge, Edinburgh EH1 1LL, UK – 0131 556 9011
It's a fairly good charity. But I bet few people care. Truth is, this cluster of charity shops is just great, you can visit half a dozen in a short walk from south bridge to south clerk street. They all have similar things and Marie Curie's shop at south bridge does not generally have anything special, but it's always worth visiting.
All for a good cause.

great place for kids hair cut charlie and maci loved it. the girls were realy good with the kids
Our toddler’s first haircut - what a great experience! Thank you so much, will definitely recommend to others.
46 St Stephen St, Edinburgh EH3 5AL, UK – 07842 798482
My kids call it ‘mummy’s favourite shop’ and it’s true. Not only do Bon Tot have an amazing collection of children’s wear, toys and clothes for me too. The service from Kris is 1st class. If I’m in with the kids she whips them away to draw, chat or feed the shop dog Frisco so that I can shop and if I’m shopping solo we have the best chats. I just hope that they keep expanding their size range as my kids grow.
Best kid’s shop in Scotland. The coolest brands, the warmest service and a really fun environment- my favourite place to shop for my little one!
Ocean Dr, Edinburgh EH6 6JJ, UK – 0131 553 6744

100 George St, Edinburgh EH2 3DF, UK – 0131 220 4343
I love this shop! The staff are always on hand to recommend outfit choice and to offer advice. Never pushy or in your face. The hire wear shop is well stocked and anything they don't have can be delivered to store in just a few days. Very good value clothing and high quality that will last you for years. For those withbdeeper pockets the in store designer menswear room is worth a look. The shop is located on George street and parking is available immediately outside for a modest fee, payable at the meter. Edinburgh Waverley station is a brisk 10-15 min walk away. A great shop.
Good experience! Because of a bit remote area, there are few people, which makes the service delivered uniformly on each customer. The staffs are really kind and patient. The manager is smart for each occasion and of empathy. I have got what I want for formal occasions. Huge thanks for that and staffs in M&S.
3 N W Circus Pl, Edinburgh EH3 6ST, UK – 0131 226 6220
Superb, quality goods store. I have purchased a grand fisherman Symmetrical jumper, made by Andersen-Andersen. Also purchasing a Filson Alaskan shirt. The staff are hugely knowledgeable about the products and appear to produce little waste.
This is a gorgeous menswear shop for the sartorially savvy. From beautifully finished brogue boots and Scandinavian chic jumpers to cherry wood kitchen knives and glass coffee pots, everything they sell is a highly crafted work of art. The shop itself would look at home in the pages of Wallpaper. It's pretty much perfect. Yes, I am jealous that there isn't a girls' version!
48 Princes St, Edinburgh EH2 2YJ, UK – 0870 607 2841
Just to note, this is a concessions within Jenners (House of Fraser) on Princes St. Situated on the first floor, the quickest way to get in is probably via the entrance around the back on Rose Street. Not a huge selection, I would say the Oasis within House of Fraser at the West end has a bigger selection, and theres the stand alone store close by in Princes Mall.
35 Dundas St, Edinburgh EH3 6QQ, UK – 0131 556 5554
One of the most excellent online shopping experiences I ever had - ordered an item on one day (from Berlin, Germany) around noon and got it the other day even before noon. Outstanding!
Beautiful shop - fantastic range of clothes and cashmere, beautiful contemporary styles, and cashmere designed and made in Scotland. Also shoes and accessories. I urge you to check this shop out!

After the mess made by my previous provider, CANS have been a breath of fresh air. Knowledgeable, personable and highly efficient, would highly recommend.
As my company grew it became obvious that my computers are the life blood of my business and I’d be crippled without them. I’m certainly no IT whiz so, on recommendation, I approached CANS to see what they could do for me. I told them what I had and where I wanted my company to go. They offered me a package to suit my current and future requirements and a quote that was well under what I had budgeted for. I signed up and they delivered well ahead of time. I was stunned. So much so that I decided to commission them to build and maintain our website. And, if that wasn’t enough, they were also able to offer me an impressive telecommunications package that couldn’t be refused. I have always found their engineers to have a professional, friendly, empathetic and reassuring manner. Any IT problems I have had are rapidly resolved and explained to me in my terms - plain facts and solutions, no jargon. Our new server and computers run faster than ever, if I accidentally delete something they can restore it, I never lose internet access and our funky new website looks great. They even monitor everything remotely so if something goes wrong they have it fixed before I even know about it! I’m especially impressed by the savings I’ve made on our telephone calls. My IT and telecommunications are in safe hands with CANS and therefore so is my business. Highly recommended.

65 Inverleith Row, Edinburgh EH3 5PX, UK – 0131 552 3493
I would highly recommend User2. I have used them on a number of occasions and the service is first class. Being a local computer shop it’s easy to pop in and get their expertise on any issues I have, nothing is too much trouble for the staff.
I was having a small problem with my wireless driver and I brought it into User2 as they were close by. I met Cameron in behind the desk and he was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He knew exactly how to fix the problem I was having, and was able to explain to me exactly why it was happening. I couldn't be happier with my experience there.

I was looking for Toner cartridges for a Laser Printer so phoned Capital Cartridges and told them what I was looking for and they called me back promptly with a competitive price. Delivery was arranged direct to me which cut out a journey to Edinburgh. Paid by debit card job done . I prefer to shop local even if its by phone or email. A good small business giving their customer an excellent service . I would definetly recommend Capital Cartridges for your cartridge supplies.
Been using Capital Cartridges few years now and always a polite and efficient service and delivery service a real bonus. Raymond

Excellent facilities, and a great training course. Not just developers here. All staff were very feiendly and supportive. Well worth the money. ArcGIS Pro is highly intuitive and worth implementing now.

Great service, great price and honest staff with lots of knowledge and skills. Down side, they are closed on the weekend.
I’ve used Flying Computers twice. The first time was a battery replacement for my 4S around 2012/13, the second was a home button replacement for my trusty old 5S today. Service was quick and friendly. The repair was estimated to be 15 mins. It was completed in around 10. The price was very reasonable. I would have no hesitation in using the shop again.

Staff here are great if not heroic, did a very difficult fix on my bike. Sometimes takes a bit longer to get the bike booked in for repairs/service etc but worth the wait as these guys are trustworthy and their expertise second to none. Been a customer for 4 years, they haven't let me down yet. Keep it up!

Ridgeback Electron: With its convenient step-though frame, relaxed geometry and upright position, the Ridgeback Electron is a great around-town bike. When paired with a front basket and panniers it would make the ideal shopping bike. Surprisingly quick and nimble, I had no trouble navigating my way up and down the cobbled hills of New Town. My first electric bike experience and it was much more enjoyable than I anticipated. Bike was loaned while mine was in the workshop.
My wife has just bought an Orbea Comfort 10 from ECC. Richard and Neil could not have been more helpful. They were relaxed and knowledgeable and have an extensive range of bikes. They even allowed us to take them out on trial in the rain, a bit different from some more precious outfits in town !! Despite being a committed road biker i can see e-bikes are the future. I think Richard and Neil have a bet on how it will take me to succumb. We will at least have to do some benchmark rides first. The Orbea Comfort 10 has front suspension, seat suspension, XT components, mega cassette at 11-46t, 11 speed, and 500Wh battery.

I'd asked for a Christmas tree to be put aside for me and the staff had very kindly agreed to do this. I travelled quite a way in so was disappointed to find that the wrong size tree had been put aside, and no more potted trees were left (I'd searched everywhere in Edinburgh and this was my last option). The staff could not have been more helpful - they found me a cut tree of just the right size and a goodwill voucher to amend the error. Really kind of everyone to make this effort - thank you!

There is simply not anywhere near enough space here to even begin to describe my many varied experiences in and around the area of Leith Walk and in particular the shop know as Home Essentials. Vital Home Essentials provides every essential item for the home. From the semi holographic Elvis pictures to brooms and everything in between, this is the shop that drives the dynamic pulsating social hub that is Leith! This is where I met the man with an orange for a head. They also sell great advent candles in January, which is when all good satanists celebrate the coming of the lord. Today I was rudely ambushed by the God of the broken shoelace whilst I was on my way to film a documentary about mental health. Who was the angel that appeared to save me on a Sunday from such a predicament, Jesus? Jehova? A Mormon? Buddha? Nope! None of them batted so much as an eyelid as I was almost taken to the hell gods realm; forever to be tormented by broken shoelaces. The angel that came to my rescue was Vital Home Essentials. These people deserve to be worshiped. And I can now confirm that they do sell shoelaces in red and blue as well as the more conventional for Leith which is black and white. Most films that are shot in Leith are in the black and white format. But I digress, would you like to know more about how I met the man with an orange for a head?
Truly has everything vital for the home.

Graeme could not have been more helpful. Fantastic service, thank you.
Good store good location very helpful staff who have the perfect mix of being helpful but not in your face. Well done for that you have no idea how important that is. Great selection of products too

This is a wonderful charity store with super friendly and welcoming staff and with lots of good quality, and sometimes exceptional quality furniture and accessories. Definitely worth perusing if you are after something for your home and are happy to purchase something "used".
A bit expensive but great shop with helpful staff.

We were really thrilled with our wedding flowers and have had a huge amount of very positive comments about the beautiful arrangements on the day. I was particularly pleased with my bouquet and am really grateful for the way in which Garlands effortlessly accommodated my request for sunflowers, presenting a very personal yet very pretty bouquet. Garlands provided a very professional, hassle free and friendly service. It is a huge relief when planning a wedding when you feel you can have 100 % confidence in those you are working with, and we most certainly felt that with Garland's.
I ordered online from Australia for our daugther studying at the University of Edinburgh. I selected 'Springtime Florist Choice' and was thrilled with both the online service, same day delivery and the quality of the beautiful arrangement. My daughter sent through a picture with her thanks. I would highly recommend Garlands. Thanks! :)

As soon as you entered this cozy shop run by Italians, my wife and I immediately breathed the air of home! Local products and delicatessen on the ground floor and restaurant / bar on the first floor. Excellent food, polite and friendly staff. Highly recommended!!!
Love going in here for a latte and the best bacon and tomato rolls in town. Also great to find authentic Italian produce, meats, vege, bread and wines. Great place to visit and enjoy.

Expensive for lunch. Good quality food and friendly staff. Would go more if it was reasonably priced.

Real Foods is the only place where I could find organic glucose/dextrose powder. I am using it to make my own nutrition/energy drink. I have tried different brands' glucose/dextrose powder but all were disgustingly too sweet. This one is not too sweet and apart from its sweetness, it's also tasty! The product is perhaps the best available on the market. I just wish this product were available in a proper resealable package (what I received made a mess when I tried to open it as it's in a thin plastic bag).
I have used this company several times online and found them to be very good all round. When I did have a problem it was sorted quickly and without fuss. I wil definitely keep using them. Their website is good to get around.

Nice wee shop with very helpful, approachable staff. Stocks some hard-to-find vegan favourites like Nutcrafter cheese, Sghaia mheats, and Booja-Booja chocolates.
Great selection of supplements and health foods, and amazing and knowledgeable staff that will help you to find the right thing.
Lothian, 18-19 Princes St, Edinburgh EH2 2AN, UK – 0131 558 8135
in my experience, nice and helpful staff, I mainly dealt with Tina at week ends, who always shared in a easy and friendly way her wealth of knowledge. The other staff seem knowledgeable and helpful too, like the lady who answered the phone today
Alex was great. Asked if we where in the area for a while and offer the larger container as it would ultimately save money if needed. Since we were not, he was able to provide a discount for us. He was polite and fun too. Thank you!
18 Multrees Walk, Edinburgh EH1 3DQ, UK – 0131 557 0390
Friendly staff that are patient and informative...I need lots of time while choosing my charms and they didn't rush me.
If you wanna shop for Christmas, better come in November or you will wait for ages. Also all deals gone quickly.

Very good customer service. They take time to mentor you through. Highly recommend them
The staff here are brilliant, very friendly and helpful. Ended up buying the wedding rings from here while living in London because the service/experience was just sooo much better!

Very good pet supplies shop and they sell some reptiles and small pets like guinnea pigs and rabbits. They have a vast array of cat toys and accessories like collars, catnip, toys etc. They even have 2 resident cats in the shop. Edinburgh's premier pet shop and has a long established reputation from the days they were based at the end of London Road.
One of the only brick and mortar stores that sells a complete rat food! Prices very reasonable (about the same as online). The rats we bought from here were incredibly well handled and two of the sweetest animals we've ever met!
Craigleith Retail Park, S Groathill Ave, Edinburgh EH4 2LN, UK – 0345 266 7623
Lovely staff. Groom room brilliant, happy dog , happy mum!
Had some issues but the staff were very helpful and got it sorted out.
134 Easter Rd, Edinburgh EH7 5RJ, UK – 0131 661 8011
Excellent and friendly service. I have never been disappointed and every time I went I found what I needed, whether it is for my hamster or more lately dog. The owner always has good advice and is clearly passionate about animals. Prices are very, very reasonable for a small pet shop and sometimes cheaper than major pet supermarkets. I don't understand how people would be disappointed by the place, unless you don't understand the meaning of local shops or you expect Disneyland.
Capital Pets provides a fantastic service. If they don't have it in stock, they will order it. If you need some advice, they can provide it. Donald is passionate and knowledgeable, friendly and obliging. I got my first dog five years ago and have been a loyal customer ever since. Now I have two and they love going to visit the shop. Considering the size of the shop, there is a pretty big range (as I say above, they can order just about anything that they don't have on the shelf and have it delivered in a few days), and things are extremely reasonably priced. If I shop elsewhere, I inevitably feel a little bit guilty now, but more importantly, I invariably find out I get a worse deal.

To the person who asked if sports direct is open good Friday, the answer is yes it is open from 10am to 4pm. I hope you get my review here and just to say that I hope you save a lot of money and enjoy the massive amount of great footwear and clothing this store has to offer, there is also a good clothing store called USC upstairs and has a good selection of clothes, shoes & accessories. I think you will find this very helpful.

Was returning some items bought online, man who served me was fantastic despite the fact it was very busy and clearly that adds pressure. However all went well disappoined in the amount of ladies clothing available in shop.

77A George St, New Town, Edinburgh EH2 3EE, UK – 0131 226 4323
Paperchase is situated a short walk from Princess Street, small frontage and easy to walk past but once inside it goes on and on. Really busy and difficult to move around due to the pre Christmas chaos. Plenty helpful and attentive staff, long queues to pay but all tills open and staff served efficiently.
Bright, cheery store, plenty of helpful assistants. Lots of quirky gift ideas. Found what I came for! Happy days.
7-11 Nicolson St, Edinburgh EH8 9BE, UK – 0131 668 1223
Staff was extremely helpful when we needed some help, even with closing time fast approaching on New year's eve. Much appreciated.
Stationery shop with good range and quality. Not the cheapest in town, but you get what you pay for. Recommended.
Leith St, Edinburgh EH1 3SP, UK – 0131 556 9121
Good selection of items, the UK version of a pricier Target. I had a frustrating experience with their exchange policy. I purchased an item that became defective. I called tech support, waited on hold for about 20 minutes, and was told I would need to come in and exchange it. I did not have my receipt, but was told the credit card I used to buy it and the approximate date of purchase would be sufficient. So I made the trip and was informed that not only was the item not in stock, but that I would need to get a print out of my credit card statement for proof of purchase. A very frustrating wasted hour.
their motto is "never knowingly undersold" - but they specialise in having exclusive stock, so this doesn't mean they're cheap. however sometimes you really get a bargain here. the new cafe on the top floor has the most amazing views, and the food is good.
1B Chambers St, Edinburgh EH1 1HR, UK – 0333 900 0026
Brilliant service from Andy and Garry - Richer sounds is the only place to shop for hifi and AV gear in Edinburgh. They've got a great product range, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Two thumbs up!
Excellent service in a small shop. Very enthusiastic staff - always willing to help. Doubt if their prices can be beaten in the city centre.
Leith, 3-4 Newkirkgate Centre, Edinburgh EH6 6AA, UK – 0131 553 1815
some of the service is good like the chit chat with the employees but they have no clue on what up selling and consumer relations are and should be trained better in consumerism, i was sold an item "refurb" and you have the same item brand new for 50 pence more a week "with a 4k ultra option" and your staff did not try to up sell me for the better product but rather let me go into the agreement which i found weird as you would think the employees would know whats on the website/in the shop etc so i was not happy they did not try to offer me the better product "which most stores" would try to sell me a better option, ill stick to my original agreement with the product im getting but not to happy that no one made me aware there were other better options at a slightly bigger price which would have been very acceptable to me and i would have gone into an agreement for the brand new product...
Nice staff, great products, top brands, easy weekly payments

We love our wedding pictures ! Thanks to you we travel back in time and relive the day again and again. You make us smell the flowers, taste the cake, hear the music every time we look at the photographs. We loved "working" with you and your creative minds. Slavka+Bruno

HUGE thanks to Alicks for making this adorable cake for my parents' golden wedding anniversary. My poor wee mum was in hospital over the anniversary, so it was quite a difficult and upsetting time for the family. Alicks treated us with real care and kindness, taking time to get things right by speaking to me and my dad, looking at photos, paying attention to detail and checking in with us on the design. We were absolutely delighted with the cake and it tasted amazing too. Thanks for an amazing creation that made our special occasion really memorable.
The cake was very well received by all the family in Orkney. Due to unusual amount of snow, we were unable to fly on the scheduled day but did a couple of days later. The cake was well packaged and survived the flight and was enjoyed by all. Thank you very much to Licks Cake Design for the fabulous job!

Great selection on wines from all over the world. Friendly and helpful staff are able to answer all your questions and make good recommendations. On this visit I noticed a whole shelf of various gins which seem to be the rave. They also offer free delivery.
Really great shop with very helpful staff. We buy various bottles and beers here for home and the selection is always great, moreover, we bought an entire weddings worth of wine and the team were excellent when it came to sorting out deals, delivery and tastings. The selection of wine is obviously excellent but there is a really good range of spirits here too and good deals on beer from all over.
