Be an awesome human being, go and browse the charity shops on this street help support a clarity and there are bargins to be had.

This is the top notch of charity shops. They always have thee coolest jazz and blues playing away in the background. On a Saturday, this place is super busy and I often find cool and quirky items here. At Christmas, I purchased all my Christmas cards from here, they all had Edinburgh themed scenes and were beautiful.

Charity Shops

Oxfam Music

25 Raeburn Pl, Edinburgh EH4 1HU, UK

Grab a literary bargain in Oxfam Books - a wonderful and inexpensive resource for book lovers of all tastes. There's a great Scottish section where you'll find books about Scottish history, art, poetry and places and you can usually find work by some of Scotland's best novelists. Of course all books are donated so stock will always vary. Kid's books are often to be found and there are usually some collectors' pieces for sale. Include a visit among a trawl of Stockbridge's many nearby charity shops, not forgetting Oxfam Music just across the road.

Great little charity book shop! It was smaller than I hope it would be but the books are in good condition and have reasonable prices (the academic books a bit less)

29-31 Deanhaugh St, Edinburgh EH4 1LR, UK – 0131 343 1771

This is a great little store. very thoughtfully presented in more of a boutique style than some of the other charity shops in town. Staff are always lovely and helpful. Just got a great pair of Zara jeans for £7 last time I was in. Well worth a look anytime you're in Stockbridge

Scored a pair of binoculars for £7 in here once. Bargain!

26 Crighton Pl, Edinburgh EH7 4NN, UK – 0131 554 6612
