Lovely book shop. Something for everyone. Café at the back

I was due to meet an author (Peter V Brett) for a signing and I was running late due to transport problems. I spoke to someone called Elsa who was brilliant. She took my details and offered to get a booked signed and dedicated if I didn't get there in time. Elsa even took the time to tell me that the time of the event had changed aswell which was great. When i got there the staff were brilliant in proving me information about the event and organizing the signing event.

Amazing collection of books on different topics - a heaven for any book lovers! You can easily spend hours going through the pages, sipping a great coffee made in-house and nibble on a muffin or a sandwich. Not to forget, the huge glass wall offers an outstanding view on the castle and green parks around. And if you are looking for a nice gift or souvenir this is exactly the place to go. Here I found a book I could not get anywhere and since it was a little bit worn out they gave me a discount. Love the place and the staff!

Great bookshop and excellent cafe. Three floors of well stocked bookshelves, well laid out so that it is easy to both browse and to find specific titles. An impressive collection of board games and a modicum of stationary and other supplies add to the appeal. The cafe provides good food and drink, though the savouries are a little on the expensive side. The views are excellent, looking out onto Edinburgh Castle.

Oxfam Bookshop

Great little charity book shop! It was smaller than I hope it would be but the books are in good condition and have reasonable prices (the academic books a bit less)

Quality and unusual selection of used books.
